For its Fibres and Fabrics production facility in the Netherlands, recently TenCate Grass has put a shredder-extruder recycling machine, supplied by PURE LOOP, fully into operation.
It is used to recycle process waste, generated in the yarn extrusion process. Previously, process waste was recycled by third parties. This could not always be reused since, post recycling, the polymer had to have the exact same properties as virgin material.
With the new process waste recycling equipment, PURE LOOP´s ISEC machine, TenCate Grass has taken another step towards achieving its sustainability goals, as the internal process waste can now be fully reused.
